ENERGY: Redistributing Power and Taming Consumption is a FOTODOK exhibition with the final presentation of FUTURES, introducing works by eight artists: Antonio Guerra, David Biro, Hien Hoang, Marta Pinto Machado, Tanja Engelberts, Umberto Diecinove, Yana Kononova and Yana Wernicke.

The projects were selected by a jury comprised of Ángel Luis González and Julia Gelezova (PhotoIreland); Emese Mucsi (Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center); Daria Tuminas (FOTODOK); and Pamela Peters (FOMU).

FUTURES is a Europe-wide platform uniting the international photography community to support and nurture the professional development of emerging artists. Launched in 2017, this ecosystem aims to add long term value to early and mid-career photographers – launching initiatives to promote their work and granting them access to an unprecedented network of professionals, markets and audiences. FUTURES is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
