Prayers in Jazz

In the concert Prayers in Jazz, vocalist and composer Tabea Koloska brings together traditional liturgical texts such as Kyrie Eleison, Gloria, Sanctus and Agnus Dei with hymns, improvisations and Spoken Word. Ancient melodies and classical prayers meet modern harmonies with jazz influences.

The project choir, which has been put together especially for this concert, is conducted by Tabea Koloska, accompanied by Hanna Marieke on piano and Lucas Jansen on horn. Let yourself be carried away in a musical encounter between heaven and earth and experience an afternoon full of amazement and stillness.
