The earth-dark music of English singer-songwriter (and actress) Keeley Forsyth grabs you by the throat from the very first notes. Her minimally arranged songs give full scope to Forsyth’s great asset: a penetrating, low voice with which she interprets all emotions from deep lows to high peaks (but especially deep lows). Rarely has human despair been sung so beautifully as on Forsyth’s three albums: Debris (2020), Limbs (2022) and The Hollow (2024). Rightly so, then, that she has been compared in the press to big names like Nico (Velvet Underground), Beth Gibbons (Portishead) and Nick Cave! During this tour, Keeley Forsyth will perform an intimate show with a focus on vocals and piano only. This sound will also be heard on her yet-to-be-released single, expected at the end of February. Keeley and Matthew will play new songs from the yet-to-be-released EP, plus earlier work from the other three albums.
