The last chance to see Lorenzo Viotti at work as chief conductor of the Netherlands Philharmonic. The charismatic conductor who has been turning Dutch musical life upside down since 2021 is calling it a day at the end of this season. One last time, he will show that he can bring a hall to ecstasy not only with his appearance, but also with his performances.  

Swiss-French conductor Lorenzo Viotti’s father Marcello Viotti set a good example as a conductor. The Italian temperament Lorenzo inherited from his father made him redefine the conducting profession. With charisma, looks and a broad interest in fitness and techno, among other things, he manages to embrace a younger audience. But above all is his immense musicality.
