Josh Gray

In reviews about American singer-songwriter Josh Gray, the names of Chris Stapleton, Townes Van Zandt and Lee Clayton regularly appear. And rightly so, because with his coarse voice and passionate delivery he reminds us of all these heroes. Yet Josh Gray is above all Josh Gray, an artist who combines folk, rock, blues and country into a highly flammable mixture. On his latest album Walk Alone he starts with the fiery protest song Radio Stations and on the rest of the material he also shows himself to be a troubadour with a sharp eye.
