The exhibition features photographs taken during his travels for the book JazzLives, including two images from the book itself. This project uniquely brought together his two great passions – jazz and photography.

Jaap van de Klomp was always a man of music. A passionate jazz lover from an early age, he was a board member of the legendary Jazzkelder Persepolis, and the driving force behind tours of American jazz soloists in the Netherlands. He was manager of pop group Fullhouse and later Braak. Today, he is a jazz programme maker at the Concertzender, where he revives the rich history of jazz with Past, Present & Future.
