On Friday 2 May 2025, Efraim Trujillo IV will perform with the album Heroes. With his new band Efraim Trujillo 4, the tenor saxophonist draws inspiration from famous colleagues such as Wayne Shorter, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane and Joe Henderson. An homage to the versatility of the instrument. For this new quartet, Trujillo joins forces with his ‘Ploctones’ buddy Jeroen Vierdag on bass, pianist Sjoerd van Eijck (Mudita) and drummer Dirk de Nijs (De Raad van Toezicht).
