We live in an age of extinction. What does it mean to witness violence in which we are both perpetrators and victims? In a new full-length work, top choreographers Crystal Pite and Simon McBurney express their feelings of fear and hope. Pite and McBurney draw on a rich and surprising collection of sources for their creation: from the sound of melting ice caps to the loud protests of climate deniers, from neuroscience lectures to the cacophonous chatter of Instagram influencers.
