Promis3 + Plastic Persoon + AIDAN

The Belgian Nu-Rave duo Promis3 impresses with a mix of Europop, hyperpop, and Y2K trance. On stage, they are known for their eccentric performances, striking visuals, and they serve as a model for European club and queer culture. Constantly pushing the boundaries of their recognizable yet confrontational identity, they have already performed with artists like Shygirl and Dorian Electra. Last January, the duo appeared at Eurosonic, in September they will release their new single ‘Archangel’, and this fall they will bring their exciting mix of nostalgia and innovative sound to EKKO.

The genre-crossing hyperpop project of British-Dutch Aidan Smit, AIDAN, links music to dance, fashion, and more. On stage, the songwriter and multimedia artist brings together dark, infectious electropop with creative visuals, symbolism, choreography, and performance art. In their songs, where IDM, hyperpop, industrial hip-hop, melodic house, and avant-garde converge, AIDAN discusses personal struggles with gender identity and social hierarchy. Currently, AIDAN is working on their debut EP, which they will bring to our stage for this occasion.
