Why such a strange love

In a lost paradise, Djek and Djill try to understand what their love actually represents without the defining eyes of the outside world. Through a continuous series of metamorphoses, they discover both the enchanting and monstrous sides of each other, but are left with the question of whether this true love can only exist in their imagination.

Djek and Djill retreat to the deep forest, away from the chaos of the big city. In solitude, they seek to understand who they are to each other. What do they mean to one another, beyond their origins, social status, and expectations? Continuously transforming, they meet as new characters. Inspired by Disney classics and Frankenstein, this eerie musical features epic orchestrated soundscapes, original pop melodies, expressive dance, and numerous costume changes. Why such a strange love explores how two people can live symbiotically in a society that promotes individuality.
