All the Streets are Silent

In the late 80s, nightclub Mars in New York was the place to be for the latest hip-hop sounds. At the same time, skateboarding became popular. When those two cultures came together, something happened that became much more than just a sport or music movement. A new movement emerged with style, fashion, pop culture, video makers and social safety. A subculture that goes beyond smoking weed, watching skate videos and listening to hip-hop. This documentary shows where and how the current skate and hip-hop culture originated.
