In this wordless performance for preschoolers, you witness unsuspecting individuals suddenly thrust into the spotlight. Just when they think no one is watching, they find themselves in the limelight! In an era where extroverted people dominate, this show elevates the shy individual onto the stage. They timidly emerge and, with the audience’s help, build towards an impressive finale. With panic in their eyes, you see their fervent wish: to quickly return to the darkness, away from the spotlight! “De grote ik heb hier geen zin in show” is accompanied by The Show Orchestra of Theater Artemis, led by musician Keimpe de Jong.

Theater Artemis is a youth theater company based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. They create interactive and anarchistic theater that disrupts and is disrupted. Theater where audience and performance meet in a shared state of confusion. Artemis empowers the ability to turn the world upside down. They create productions and art projects for all children in school and anyone else who remains.
