Have you already started spring cleaning and clearing out your closets, record collection or kid’s toys? Or are you excited to score vintage treasures? Great news: you do not have to go outside of Utrecht anymore.

From 30 april there will be a flea market called de Betonnerie every last sunday of the month. De Betonnerie will be the perfect way to relax on a sunday afternoon, meet (new) friends and sell or shop in a sustainable way. The aim is to connect locals and different cultures and to contribute to a healthy, clean and sustainable environment & economy!

De Betonnerie will be held at Beton-T, Utrecht’s newest experimental city square. From clothing to plants to upcycled products: together with every participant it will create a second life for products that would normally end up in the trash. It will be a “gezellige”, accessible and local market where everyone is welcome. You can drop by to find that unique record or sixties lamp, or to just chat and have a coffee.

Everyone who wants to sell their (second hand) products is welcome too. Next to market stalls there will be music, food and drinks. There will also be an upcycle café where you can turn old materials into something new.
