From controversial performances by renowned theatre companies and interactive art installations to an extensive kids programme and free gigs by up-and-coming bands: Festival Tweetakt returns to Utrecht. In two weekends, Festival Tweetakt offers a special programme that includes performances without text that are accessible to everyone and performances that are translated into English. 21 to 23 juni & 27 to 30 juni Music You can head to Neude, the heart of the festival, for free gigs, silent disco’s and great food and drinks. 3voor12/Utrecht curates a night with up-and-coming bands such as Kai Needie, Onkruid and Bowl (photo), and Droom Dit will also perform. In the weekend, Neude is transformed into an intimate club, where you can dance the night away during the silent disco. 14 to 30 June, Neude square Art On Saturdays and Sundays, you can hop on your bike to Fort Ruigenhoek, just outside the city. This historic fortress island is only accessible during the festival. Under the old trees and in underground bunkers you will see interactive art installations by established artists and young talent, theatre performances, short films and more.
