RAUM on Berlijnplein is offering all kinds of great things to do this season. The opening festival on 19 April will give you an exclusive sneak-peek of what’s to come. Spielerei The Pleinotheek is a neighbourhood lending centre, kiosk and library in one. The concept is simple: come by, choose something fun to do on the square (jeu de boules, ping-pong, board games) and return it before the end of the day. Powerhouse From April till October, artists Nadia el Barnoussi and Ibtissam Feger will be working in the so-called Powerhouse at RAUM. They will present their work and will be giving workshops during the opening weekend. Both artists are looking for ways to weave old crafts from their own background into the present day. Tea-ceremony Sip Moroccan tea together and listen to stories about the mint that goes in it. Morning Café Rave Travel from one Kop voor Nop café to the other (Warmoes, Venster, Kaffeetaria, Kleine Max and others) while listening to the tunes provided by DJ collective Bankra Bike Soundsystem. The rave starts at 10am at Bartók, TivoliVredenburg. Podium de Straat Listen to music all day on Berlijnplein, with performances by Abramusica, Van Piekeren’s Utregticana and DJ collective Bankra Bike Soundsystems. 19 April 2025, RAUM , Berlijnplein.
