Every month a photo from The Utrecht Archives. Anyone who wanted to escape the summer heat in the city in the 1970s could pitch a tent at the city campsite De Berekuil in the Voorveldsepolder. Or put down a towel in the grass to enjout the sun, like these young women. The campsite still exists, but major renovations have been going on for a while because the place has deteriorated somewhat over the years.
